Your Song is a weekly musical anthology program of ABS-CBN in the Philippines. It is broadcast Sundays afternoon. The program began its airing on February 12, 2006.The plot of each episode is inspired by a hit song performed by a local artist. The song title is used as the episode title, while the song itself is used throughout the episode as background music. A new cast is featured in each episode.
There are 11 episodes in Season 1. Season 2 likewise had 11 regular episodes, but in addition had one special screening to introduce the cast, characters, and plot of Bituing Walang Ningning, a drama series on ABS-CBN. Season 3 has 14 episodes, Season 4 has 11 episodes, Season 5 has 12 episodes, Season 6 has 8 episodes while Season 7 has 18.
During Season 8, featuring stories based on chosen love songs. Each story arc will now be shown for a whole month changing parts with another program conterpart Love Spell that'll have a weekly episode. My Only Hope episode is the longest seasonal episodes ever in the history a total of 16 episode.
But every month of February, there is a special episode every week which features different love teams.
During Season 9, the featured stories are based on film. Each story is a remake a certain film. It has only two stories which are Underage that stars Melissa Ricks, Empress Schuck and Lauren Young reprising the role of Maricel Soriano, Snooky Serna and Dina Bonnevie in the Regal film Underage and Boystown that stars the gigger boys of ASAP '09.
The show is currently in its third year and on its 10th season which is Your Song Presents: My Last Romance that stars Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano. It can also be seen worldwide via The Filipino Channel.
